Winter Coats

Gift a winter coat and keep a person warm and healthy this cold winter season. Homelessness is a desperate situation regardless of the season, but to face homelessness during a Canadian winter can be especially harrowing. During cold weather many children, youth, and adults arrive at Blue Door without a winter coat or boots – leaving them extremely vulnerable to the harsh conditions of the winter season.

Infant and Child Support

Your donation will provide children and infants with toys, clothing, footwear, school supplies diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food. Families with children and infants are often in need of support for essential infant items such as baby formula, baby food, diapers and wipes. Children are often in need of clothing, footwear, and school supplies. A gift of a toy for the holidays or a birthday is also a great comfort to a child while they are without a place to call home. Families are trying their best to search for and obtain permanent housing which quite often requires all their funds for first and last month’s rent, this leaves families with little funds for these very much needed children’s items.
