Co-hosted by the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH) and Blue Door, the national On The Way Home podcast celebrated its two-year anniversary in February 2022.

The only podcast of its kind, On The Way Home releases episodes every Thursday focusing on the topics of housing and homelessness to educate and create awareness of the gaps and challenges of ending homelessness.

Leaders from across Canada and internationally share their research, lived experience, and groundbreaking programs with listeners and hosts Michael Braithwaite, CEO of Blue Door, and Stefania Seccia, Communications Advisor at the CAEH.

Past guests have included Jesse Thistle lived expert and author of the award-winning memoir From the Ashes, Ed Macnab CEO of 3D Printed Homes Corporation, Juha Kaakinen CEO of the Y-Foundation in Finland, and Margaret Pho discussing the work of her organization, the Aboriginal Housing Management Association.

During a very challenging time for people experiencing homelessness, On The Way Home is rooted in fostering collaboration across sectors, together building bridges and pathways out of homelessness.

On The Way Home is made possible through generous community sponsors, including the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, ShiftLink, EllisDon, and Paul Meredith, Mortgage Broker at CityCan Financial.
