When we hear the words “retirement home”, we often think of inactive seniors. However, this is not the case of the residents of The Renoir Retirement Residence.

Each year, the residents work tirelessly to raise funds for, and assist local agencies in, bringing a better life to others. This year, the residents held an annual Bazaar to raise money for local charities. They also collected funds and gifts for a floor at Southlake Village through the Seniors’ Wish Foundation, volunteered their time to be a part of the Bell Ringers program for the Salvation Army, and regularly collect socks, toiletries and clothing for local shelters.

As a result of the residents’ efforts, and with great pride, Inn from the Cold, Blue Door and Rose of Sharon have all received a cheque for $1000 this year
